A Christmas message from the President

Hello All,
As we enter the silly season, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and super new year. I hope you all have many fun and memorable moments during the summer holiday period, but please be sure to stay safe and look after yourself as well as your family and friends.
I would like to thank everyone for their support over the course of the year, a year that was historic for this fantastic club.
Not just for all our Saturday sides making the big dance for the first time since our inception. Not just for the Reserves Team bringing home our first ever Senior Grade Flag. Not just for birth of our first ever Senior Women's team.
It was also about off field. Senior players taking the coaching reins of our junior teams. Having larger than ever attendances at the majority of the clubs functions. Having more local businesses coming on board as sponsors.
This would indicate a club and people that are united in the quest to become better and to become best.
Yes, there may be disappointments along the way. There may be hiccups. There may be disagreements. This is natural when there are a lot of passionate people all striving for the same goal.
To reach that goal and the prize/s on offer, we all need to continue to do the hard work and remain united. We need to support and encourage each other in making our club the best place to be. I truly believe the sky’s the limit and anything is possible if we maintain the faith and effort.
Remember it’s not about you. It’s about us. THE ROX!
Thanks to the former committee members who gave up their valuable time over the year or years to assist with making our club greater. Your efforts are certainly appreciated and I welcome all our new committee members who have taken up the challenge.
Again, I thank everyone from the committee, coaching staff, support staff, members, supporters, families and of course all of the boys, girls, men and ladies who pulled on the mighty Roxy jumper.
Please take care over the holiday period and I look forward to seeing you all from Mid January, when ‘Desi’ and his crew return to the training track.

Cheers
Jason Bolitho
